Happy Summer!

Thanks everyone for coming to the potluck!

We had 10 who came, including a special guest, Mike Forney! Maria was unable to join us due to an illness but hopes to come to our Fall meeting.

Thanks to Sarah for sharing different yoga breathing techniques for calming and transitions. Check out the book below to find out such breathing techniques like a rabbit, snake or turtle.

Here are a few ideas we talked about at our meeting.
We will talk more about some of these ideas in the fall

1.  Spellbinder workshop with Storytellers from Fort Collins. Mike brought this up as an opportunity to gain insight from other tellers.
(This could possible be an exchange where 3 tellers come here and then 3 of our tellers go there.)
2. A story swap among ourselves (we each bring a couple of stories to exchange and or tell with each other)
3. Story swap with other Chapters. (We each send 5 of our favorite stories based on grade or age level and then we receive stories from other chapters)
4. Building our mentoring opportunities to help with our new tellers.
5. We could still use another teller for the Crane Festival at the end of August. Contact me if you would like to join David and myself at the library for the event.
6. We handed out a survey to get feedback from our chapter Spellbinders. If you were not at our meeting, I would love for you to send me your feedback. No names needed, just drop at the kids desk at the library or if you want email it to me.Click on the link Time for Feedback to download a copy.
