How can I participate?
  • The room size limits us to about 80 participants, so there will be a need to register.  Registration will open the first week of October
  • Please come with 2 to 3 stories in mind to tell
  • All stories should be less than 7 minutes
  • Feel free to share a story you are still working on so you can get feedback
  • Upon arrival, participants will put their name in the appropriate hat(s) based upon age and length of story (less than 3 minutes or 3 to 7 minutes)
  • Names will be drawn and tellers can either “pass” or get up and tell with no introduction/background information on the story other than name and source so that we can hear as many stories as possible
  • Celebration at the end so that we can mingle, connect and learn from each other

story dreaming 2Why? How did this come about?

At the Annual Meeting in April 2016, there was a strong request for more collaboration among Chapters and more opportunities to hear each other tell.  While a summer, mountain, weekend festival would be great, it will take a lot of planning and won’t be immediately feasible.  So, we wanted to get something on the books for this calendar year to have fun, share and provide insight on moving forward on something bigger
